Our goal in the 2011-12 legislative cycle is to introduce the groundbreaking legislation in California that provides cancer patients with access to the best in natural and non-toxic cancer therapies, while protecting the public and the physicians who provide care.
The current California Health and Safety Code (Law) seems to make it a criminal offense to do any cancer treatment other than Chemotherapy, Radiation and Surgery. We will introduce and hopefully win passage of the bill. (See draft copy of our bill by clicking here). You will need Adobe reader.
Passage of this bill may influence other states to make similar changes their laws. The provisions in our bill are:
–Legalizing Integrative Cancer Treatments in California
–Authorizing Physicians and Licensed Naturopathic Doctors to provide the treatment
–Allowing parents/guardians to select the method of treatment for their child.
